On February 25th, 2023, we had the honor of welcoming Mr. Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, MP, Hon'ble State Minister, Ministry of Shipping, Begum Meher Afroze Chumki, MP, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Women and Children Affairs Ministry and Khaleda Akhtar Joint Secretary (MPA & PPA) Ministry of Shipping at the International Maritime Academy (IMA).

During their visit, they expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the facilities at IMA, describing it as a complete maritime training facility. They wished the academy all the success for its future endeavors.

Upon their arrival, the state minister and Chairperson were greeted with a guard of honor by the IMA cadets from the 12th & 13th batch. They were then given a detailed briefing about the academy's activities and shown the various training facilities available at the academy.

We are thrilled to have had such esteemed guests visit us and share their appreciation for our efforts in providing top-notch maritime training. We remain committed to our mission of producing skilled and competent professionals who can contribute to the maritime industry's growth and development.
